Programming

Working concurrently with our customer’s engineering teams, produceability issues are resolved at the design level in the native design system, reducing the amount of re-design on emerging projects. Staying inside the legacy system, using Model Based Definition, we can begin Engineering concepts and tool designs immediately, reducing lead-time and costs.

Utilizing CATIA 4, CATIA 5, Unigraphics, NCL, and Matra-Gerber on site gives us the ability to design fixtures and program CNC machines around a customers’ specific design needs. All programs are verified using Veri-Cut prior to shop release to reduce the risk of tape-proof failure and to prove the sequence of operations is sound.

Modular tooling concepts, hydraulic fixtures, and innovative holding techniques are all utilized to reduce the influence of human error at the machining level. These techniques reduce the number of times a part is loaded and unloaded, as well as increase machine utilization by decreasing set-up times. The utilization of these Lean techniques allows us to reduce the cost of manufacturing, which is passed-on to our valued customers.

All CNC programs are fed to our state-of-the-art equipment using a true DNC system. Cutting tools are pre-loaded in dedicated shrink-fit holders for the life of a program. This guarantees your job will run on time, when scheduled, without fail.
