Inspection
Our Quality Control department provides the backbone of our check-and-balance system, verifying that all parts conform to customer requirements and Quality Assurance planning. All procured hardware and outside service certifications are inspected in parallel with physical inspection of machined parts and assemblies.
Coordinate Measuring Machines (2) are used to verify in-process operations and for final inspections of parts before and after processing. Our solid granite 43" X 143" IMS Merlin CMM using Virtual DMIS software resides in our final inspection room.
Housed in a temperature and humidity-controlled environment, this high-speed machine utilizes a dual-station programming system, automatic tip-changer, the latest interfacing software, and Digitizing/Scanning capability. This system is capable of importing raw models from CATIA, Unigraphics, or any design software, giving us the flexibility to inspect parts against the native customer-supplied model.
Mechanical inspection is provided by a dedicated team of certified inspectors. These technicians verify in-process physical dimensions prior to outside services, visual checks as parts are received from outside services, and final check of correct shipping protection to customer.
It is our commitment to apply these Relentless Quality Control processes to every component that leaves our shipping dock.
